A 34-year-old San Bernardino bicyclist died in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Palm Avenue and 5th Street.
Highland, CA, May 17, 2022 — Oscar Palacios has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that occurred on May 13 in Highland. Oscar Palacios, a 34-year-old San Bernardino resident, was involved in a collision with a vehicle that occurred at 11:47 p.m. at the intersection of Palm Avenue and 5th Street. The circumstances of the incident have not been provided but first responders arrived and took the gravely injured bicyclist to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Sadly, Oscar Palacios died in the hospital the next morning. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the tragic incident.
