A 62-year-old Seal Beach woman died after being struck by an SUV on Bolsa Chica Street near Argosy Avenue.
Huntington Beach, CA, June 1, 2022 — Lori Susan Allen has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on May 31 in Huntington Beach. Lori Allen, a 62-year-old Seal Beach resident, was reportedly walking outside of a crosswalk on Bolsa Chica Street north of Argosy Avenue when the incident began. At approximately 11:00 p.m., a Toyota Highlander SUV heading south on Bolsa Chica when it struck the victim. First-responders arrived and declared Lori Allen deceased.The police have indicated that the driver and a passenger remained at the scene and they do not suspect a DUI in the case. The Huntington Beach Police Department is investigating the case and asking for the assistance of any witnesses with knowledge of the tragic mishap.
