Hit-and-run is alleged in the death of a 39-year-old father of three; authorities say the man struck by a red Porsche Carrera at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and South Broadmoor Drive.
Palm Springs, CA, May 31, 2022 — Jesse Fleury has been identified by authorities as the victim in an apparent hit-and-run collision that occurred on May 27 in Palm Springs. Jesse Fleury, a 39-year-old San Jacinto resident and father of three, was struck by a high-end sports car at at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and South Broadmoor Drive at about 6:40 a.m. Authorities allege that the driver of the sports car – believed to be a red Porsche Carrera from 2012 through 2016 – fled the scene without attempting to help the victim. The Porsche is believed to have sustained some front-end damage. The Palm Springs Police Department is seeking out the help of any witnesses to the tragic incident as the search for the suspect responsible for the death of Jesse Fleury continues.
