Hamuoi Eckel Accident; Killed in Sacramento Dump Truck Collision

A 71-year-old local resident died and one person was injured following a collision at Florin Road and Power Inn Road.

Sacramento, CA, May 18, 2022 — Hamuoi Eckel has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in a collision involving dump truck and a car that occurred on May 14 in Sacramento. Hamuoi Eckel, a 71-year-old local resident, was in a sedan with another individual that collided with a dump truck at at Florin Road and Power Inn Road. First-responders arrived and took two injured people to an area hospital. Sadly Hamuoi Eckel died despite treatment. The extent of the other victim’s injuries have not been provided. Reports indicate that the California Highway Patrol is handling the case.
