Fatal Motorcycle Crash on East Broadway Boulevard

On May 3, a tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of 22-year-old Brock Christopher Jackson in Tucson, Arizona. The collision took place around 11 a.m. in the 7600 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

According to the Tucson Police Department, Jackson was riding a Suzuki motorcycle at speeds exceeding the posted 40 mph limit. As he traveled westbound, a GMC Terrain, heading east, attempted to turn left into a business complex. Unfortunately, Jackson’s motorcycle collided with the vehicle.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports confirmed that he was wearing appropriate protective gear at the time of the crash. A passenger in the GMC was taken to the hospital as a precaution, while the driver remained unharmed.

The police identified two contributing factors to the accident: the GMC’s failure to yield while making the left turn and the motorcyclist’s excessive speed. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
