A 73-year-old local bicyclist died after being struck by an SUV at the intersection of Herndon Avenue and Blackstone Avenue.
Fresno, CA, May 27, 2022 — Frank Romero has been identified by authorities as the victim in a collision involving a bicycle and an SUV that occurred on May 24 in Fresno. Frank Romero, a 73-year-old local resident, was reportedly struck by an SUV at about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection. According to information attributed to the Fresno Police Department, first-responders arrived, performed CPR and took the victim to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) , where he tragically passed away from his injury. Reports indicate the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and was cooperative.
