A Chevrolet HHR collided with the side of the school bus on Riverside Street near Highway 74.
Lake Elsinore, CA, May 13, 2022 — Anthony Ramirez has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in a involving a crossover SUV and a school bus that occurred on May 12 in Lake Elsinore. According to information attributed to the California Highway Patrol, Anthony Ramirez, a 57-year-old local resident, was inside a Chevrolet HHR that collided with the side of the school bus on Riverside Street in the vicinity of Highway 74. The time of the crash was reportedly 6:32 a.m. The force of the collision had caused the front of the Chevrolet to crumple. Anthony Ramirez was taken from inside the Chevrolet and taken to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center but was pronounced dead after arriving. A youngster from the school bus with a fractured leg was also reportedly taken to the medical center for treatment. The tragic case remains under investigation by authorities.
