Christopher Ulloa Jr. Accident; Killed in Crash Outside Bakersfield

A 21-year-old Bakersfield resident died following a late-afternoon crash at Rosedale Highway and Cannon Street involving a pickup truck and another vehicle.

Kern County, CA, May 30, 2022 — Christopher Ulloa Jr. has been identified by authorities as the victim in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on May 26 in outside of Bakersfield in Kern County. Christopher Ulloa Jr., a 21-year-old Bakersfield resident, was involved in a collision that occurred at the intersection of Rosedale Highway and Cannon Street near the factory owned by Frito Lay. One of the two vehicles, a Ford pickup truck, reportedly overturned at about 4:30 p.m. First responders arrived but Christopher Ulloa Jr. tragically died at the scene. No information has been provided on any other injuries. The crash is being handled by the California Highway Patrol which also temporarily shut down a stretch of Rosedale Highway as part of the investigation.
