Wanda Ellithorp-Fletcher has been identified by authorities as the victim in a three vehicle collision that occurred on September 20 in Solano. Ms. Ellithorp-Fletcher, a 64-year-old West Sacramento resident was driving a Nissan Kicks crossover vehicle on the 80 Freeway at about 6:10 p.m. when her car was reportedly rear-ended by a Jeep Compass. The Nissan was then pushed into the backside of a Ford F-150 pickup truck. Ms. Ellithorp-Fletcher died at the scene from her injuries. The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries. A DUI is not suspected but the tragic incident is under investigation.
