Thomas Theobald has been identified by authorities as the deceased following a crash that occurred in the San Diego County community of Warner Springs on December 28 after 8:30 p.m. Mr. Theobald was a driver in one of two vehicles that collided on Route 79 in the vicinity of Linton Road. One vehicle was a Toyota Prius and the other was a Ford truck. Mr. Theobald was badly injured and taken by air to Palomar Medical Center where he died some hours later. Mr. Theobald was 66.
