Theodore Rich has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a traffice collision that occurred on June 24 in Eastvale at roughly 8:30 a.m..  Mr. Rich, an 88-year-old Hawthorne resident, was heading eastward on Baron Road in the Riverside County city when authorities say the vehicle he was driving turned left onto River Road at an intersection only right turns are permitted. His vehicle collided with another, gravely injuring the elderly man. He was taken by first responders but apparently passed away from his injuries. The other driver received only minor injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
