Terrence Coleman has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that occurred on the night of September 16 in Compton. Mr. Coleman, 43-years-old, was riding a bicycle on Rosecrans Avenue near Aprilia Avenue at about 11:15 p.m. when he collided with a Honda Element compact SUV. Highway near Mohawk Trail when a 2005 Toyota Prius struck him. First-responders arrived by the victim died at the scene. The area, authorities say, was not well lit and the incident happened when the driver of the Honda went into Mr. Coleman’s lane, causing the crash that killed the man. The driver of the car remained at the scene. However, an investigation is ongoing.
