Tapelu Tapelu has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-car collision that took place in Morgan Hill on February 2. Mr. Tapelu was driving on Condit Road around 8:00 p.m. in a Nissan Altima. Authorities say that the car drifted into another lane for reasons that have not been explained. It then collided with another car, an Audi, driven by a female Morgan Hill resident. Mr. Tapelu sadly died at the scene from his injuries. Meanwhile the other driver was rescued by first-responders and taken by air to an area hospital. Police are saying that they do not at this time whether or not a DUI might have been involved in the tragedy. Mr. Tapelu was 39-years-old.
