Susan Cardoza has been named as the victim in an accident that occurred before 6:30 a.m. on November 7. Ms. Cardoza, a pedestrian, was on the Silverado Trail North when she was struck by a 2014 Hyundai. According to authorities the driver, 61, did not see her prior to hitting her. The collision is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
