Sonciera Dejarnette Bomar-Royal has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an accident that occurred in Sacramento on April 18. Ms. Bomar-Royal, a 43-year-old Rio Lindo resident, was a passenger in a being driven by Mark Grosvenor, a 34-year-old Rancho Cordova resident, on Highway 160 south. At around 10:20 a.m. the car collided with a tree. The driver was thrown from the vehicle while another passenger, 26-year-old Anthony Jones, had to be freed from the vehicle by first-responders, all three were injured taken to a hospital but Ms. Bomar-Royal tragically passed away from her injuries. Mr. Grosvenor was arrested at the hospital on a driving-under-the-influence. The California Highway Patrol in North Sacramento are seeking witnesses in the case.
