Solomon Montijo Thornber has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred July 23 in Downtown Los Angeles. Mr. Thornber, 31, was struck by Toyota Prius heading northward on the 110 Freeway in the vicinity of 6th Street at about 11:20 p.m. He died at the scene. Authorities say the driver of the Prius remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. An investigation into the tragic crash remains ongoing.
