Sean Michael Saling has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in a collision that occurred on August 29 in Bakersfield. Mr. Saling, 32, was driving a vehicle described as a pickup truck at around 6:15 in the vicinity of Herring Road and Old River Road at around 6:15 a.m. when his vehicle collided with a semi tractor-trailer, apparently causing the pickup to burst into flame and killing Mr. Saling.
