Sara Youhas has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred July 14 in Boulder Creek. Ms. Youhas, a 73-year-old local resident, was walking on Bear Creek Road near View Drive when she was struck by a vehicle. The force of the apparently caused the woman to fall down in an embankment. The driver of the vehicle apparently fled the scene without trying to help. The woman had been reported missing at around 6:30 p.m. and was found dead by authorities.
