Russell Santos has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an accident involving a pick-up truck and a small bus that occurred on July 7 in Riverside. At roughly 11:30 a.m., Mr. Santos, a 56-year-old local resident, was driving a small bus on Krameria Avenue. At that point, a vehicle described as an older model Toyota Tundra, white in color, reportedly turned in front of the bus at Barton Street. Mr. Santos died at the scene while the driver, a 20-year-old Riverside resident, was taken for treatment with injuries described as moderate. The incident is being investigated and the Riverside Police Department is seeking out witnesses to the tragic accident.
