Rigoberto Alvarez has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a deadly collision that occurred on October 14 at approximately 5:30 in the afternoon. Also seriously injured was Faye Beard. Authorities say that Mr. Alvarez was driving a 2005 Kia Sportage on West Service Road; the driver ran a stop sign at Ustick Road, and was hit broadside by 2003 Honda Civic being driven by Ms. Beard. Ms. Beard was hospitalized with serious injuries, while Mr. Alvarez died at scene. He was 29.
