Ricky Munoz, 22, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on September 18 in Napa. Reports indicate that Mr. Munoz was involved in a fight that began at Maggie’s Pub on Telegraph Road at some point prior to 1:00 a.m. The alleged theft of a hat occurred at some point and the fight involved Pico Rivera resident Kyle Michael Guinea-Mangubat and Montebello resident Anthony Edward Varela, both 21. Mr.Munoz was involved in a chase when he was hit by a security vehicle on Telegraph Road and died at the scene. The surviving males were reportedly charged with murder by Whittier police. The tragic incident is under investigation.
