Richard Holguin Dead After Hollister and Gilroy Area Motorcycle Accident

Richard H. Holguin has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred on June 25 between the cities of Hollister and Gilroy. Mr. Holguin, a 37-year-old Hollister resident, was riding a Honda CBR600 motorcycle on Highway 25, which is also often referred to as Bolsa Road, at approximately 5:30 a.m. As he neared Shore Road witnesses say the Honda was passing cars by driving in the right turn lane. A Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 35-year-old female resident of Watsonville reportedly turned left in front of the motorbike and the collision occurred, killing Mr. Holguin at the scene. The incident is under investigation.

Our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
