Walnut Creek, CA November 17, 2020 — Rebecca Pulling has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian accident that occurred on November 16. Rebecca Pulling, a 42-year-old resident of Lafayette was apparently on the 680 Freeway near the North Main Street offramp and a construction zone that reports indicate was not marked off with cones or blocked. She apparently walked onto the freeway at some time prior to 10:45 p.m. and was struck by a vehicle described as a Chrysler Sebring. The woman was very severely injury and tragically died at the scene. Her presence on the freeway may have been noticed by a construction who contacted 911. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was cooperative with investigators from the California Highway Patrol.
