Raymundo Jaime has identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run bicycle collision that occurred in Palm Springs on October 21. Mr. Jaime was riding a bicycle at approximately 9:20 in the evening near the crossing of Morongo Road and Mesquite Avenue when a car described as a black sedan collided with him and failed to stop, leaving the scene, authorities allege. Mr. Jaime, a 30-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, perished from his injuries at the scene. The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating and seeking out witnesses to the tragic crash.
