Raul Silva-Chavez, a 23-year-old local resident, was driving a Nissan 350Z two-seater prior to 12:15 p.m. on Palm Drive when the California Highway Patrol indicated that his car appeared to move into another lane while driving at a high speed and colliding frontally with a pickup truck at the intersection with 20th Avenue. Also involved were three other vehicles driving behind.
