Philip Feebeck Dead in Newman, California Chain Reaction Accident

Philip Feebeck of Ceres has been identified by authorities as the victim of a deadly multicar collision on August 31. The 69 year-old man was driving a pickup truck on Shiels Road in Stanislaus County that hit a tractor driven by Luis Garcia, 20, from the rear. The accident occurred at roughly 6:00 a.m. The collision caused the truck to move in to the opposite lane where it was struck by a large commercial truck driven by Armando Flores, a 22 year-old from Chowchilla.  Mr. Feebeck reportedly died at the scene. The other two drivers were unharmed. Authorities have issued an advisory asking the public to show additional caution on the road during the fall harvest season.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
