Peggy Reeder, 57, has been named by authorities as the victim of an accident that occurred at approximately 8 a.m. on August 3 on Staggs Way in the Hollywood Park area. 63 year-old Kevin Lee Schanz was arrested shortly afterward on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, felony hit-and-run, and driving under the influence, as well as for violating parole. Police say she died at the scene.
