Pascual Iboa Reyes has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian accident that occurred on May 3 in San Martin. Mr. Reyes, a 66-year-old San Jose resident, was driving southward on Highway 101 shortly before a vehicle described as an SUV made by Mercedes collided with a tree in front of him. It appears that Mr. Reyes stopped his car and stepped onto the road, most likely to try to help. Meanwhile, a Toyota Corolla driven by Thoy To Te Li was also heading south and tragically struck Mr. Reyes, who died at scene. The police are investigating the collision to determine fault.
