The Tragic Midnight Crash Occurred in the Exposition Park neighborhood near USC.
Los Angeles, CA, November 16, 2020 — Omar Kenyatta has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an apparent solo collision that occurred on November 12 in the Los Angeles Exposition Park area, close to USC. Omar Kenyatta, a 42-year-old resident of Hawthorne, was reportedly driving a Range Rover at a high rate of speed in the vicinity of the Figueroa Street and 37th Street intersection when something happened and he crashed the car into a pole. The driver was killed in the accident while a passenger was injured and taken for medical care by first-responders. How serious the injuries were suffered by the other individual in the car have not be stated. The incident occurred at about 12:10 a.m. It’s probable that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the fatal crash. No statement has been made about whether or not a DUI might have been involved.
