Nou Yang has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on September 12 in Fresno. Mr. Yang, a 62-year-old local resident, was crossing North Weber Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. while pushing his 4-year-old granddaughter in stroller. A vehicle described as dark colored then struck the man and also caused the stroller to tumble to the ground. The driver allegedly left the scene without attempting to help. Reports indicate the vehicle was headed north on Weber in the direction of Highway 99. The little girl received only bumps and bruises. An investigation is ongoing to locate the driver and witnesses are being sought in the tragic case.
