Nicholas Shelton has been identified by authorities as the victim of an Oxnard motorcycle vs. car collision that occurred just prior to midnight on November 18. Mr. Shelton was on Hueneme Road near Naval Air when he collided with an automobile driving in the opposite direction. Mr. Shelton, a Camarillo resident, was 30. The auto involved in the collision was driven by an Oxnard resident, age 44. The driver reportedly stayed at the sight of the incident and cooperated with authorities. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
