Natalie Wood Killed in Alleged Merced Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident

Natalie Wood has been identified as the victim following an alleged hit-and-run bicycle collision that occurred in Merced on December 28 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Ms. Wood was reportedly crossing the intersection of G Street and 18th  Street on her bicycle during a red light when she was struck by a vehicle, possibly an 18-20-year-old Toyota Corolla that is gold or a similar color. The auto failed to stop and continued driving north on G Street, authorities believe. The driver of the car is being sought. Ms. Wood was 50.
