Miguel Angel Aguirre has been identified by authorities as the victim in an SUV on SUV collision that occurred on September 8 in Victorville. Mr. Aguirre, a 33-year-old resident of Apple Valley, was driving a Ford Flex SUV northward on National Trials Highway shortly before 10:40 p.m. when a Nissan Armada SUV reportedly struck his vehicle. The Nissan was heading in the opposite direction when it veered into the opposing lane, crashing into the Ford. Mr. Aguirre apparently died at the scene. A male passenger was badly injured and hospitalized. The driver of the Nissan, 45-year-old Las Vegas resident Kenya Williams may also have been less seriously injured. Victorville police are seeking witnesses as the investigation continues.
We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
