Michael Wayne Towson has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-car collision that occurred on April 27 in the Jamul district of San Diego County. Mr. Towsin was driving on Route 94 shortly after 6:30 a.m. Authorities say that he may have failed to navigate a curve and hit another vehicle in a head-on collision. Mr. Towson was taken by first responders to a San Diego hospital but died within the hour.
