Two young men, age 23 and 24, died in a fiery solo crash when the car they were struck a palm tree on Vineland Avenue in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley neighborhood.
Los Angeles, CA, October 13 — Raymond Sada and Michael Pineda-Guillen have been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo collision that occurred October 11 in North Hollywood. The incident began when Michael Pineda-Guillen, 24, and Raymond Sada, 23, were traveling down Vineland Avenue near Burbank Boulevard. Both young men were residents of the San Fernando Valley Los Angeles neighborhood of North Hollywood. According to information attributed to the Los Angeles Police Department, the car was heading north on Vineland near the intersection with Burbank Boulevard. For reasons that are not known, police say that the vehicle crossed over into the opposite lane of traffic and ended up crashing into a palm tree. Reports indicate the car became engulfed in flame. Police arrived but both young men died at the scene. The cause of the accident has not been released.
