Michael Moore Jr. has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a collision that occurred on August 30 in San Bernardino. Ronnie Anderson was hurt in the incident. Mr. Moore, a 27-year-old Victorville resident was driving with Mr. Anderson, a 26-year-old local resident, as his passenger prior to 2:45 a.m. Mr. Moore was driving a Kia Forte eastward on Highland Avenue towards the intersection with Sierra Way. At the same time a Honda Passport was heading southward on Sierra. Reports indicate that one of the two vehicles failed to yield to a red signal where the streets meet. The outcome was that Mr. Moore’s Kia was struck from the side by the Honda SUV. Mr. Moore died at the scene while Mr. Anderson was taken to the hospital with what have been described as minor injuries. The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the accident regarding the cause; both speed and the DUI have been mentioned.
