Melissa Christian has been identified by authorities as the victim in a solo auto collision that occurred on August 29 in Kern County. Ms. Christian, 33 was a passenger in vehicle that was involved in a collision at the crossing of Olive Drive and Roberts Lane prior to 6:50 a.m. For reasons that have been provided, the vehicle apparently went out of control, struck a light, causing the woman’s death.
