Mary Lambright has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo automotive collision that took place on November 28 in Moreno Valley. Ms. Lambright, a 68-year-old resident of Yucaipa, was a passenger in a sedan driven 39-year-old Matthew Wimberly, also from Yucaipa. Reports say that the sedan, a BMW, went out of control and went off the roadway into an embankment. Ms. Lambright reportedly perished at the scene from her injuries. Mr. Wimberly was reportedly treated for minor injuries. Authorities are indicating that they believe distracted driving might have been an issue; an investigation is ongoing.
