
Jesus S. Hernandez, a 23-year-old Washington State resident, has been arrested in connection with the tragic accident.
Sacramento County, CA, January 13, 2021 — Mary Eskman has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that came in the wake of a two car accident on January 9 in Wilton, an area inside Sacramento County. Jesus S. Hernandez, a 23-year-old from Bridgeport, Washington, has been arrested in connected with the deadly accident. Mary Eskman, a 26-year-old resident of Roseville was one of the drivers in a collision involving a Nissan 370Z and a Nissan Sentra prior to 2:20 a.m. The first accident apparently did not cause any injuries and the two drivers got out of their cars. At that point, a Volkswagen Jetta allegedly driven by Jesus Hernandez struck the 370Z and the woman. First responders arrived but the young woman tragically died at the scene. He was arrested on charges related to DUI. Reports indicate that the California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
