Marlene Gonzales has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian accident that occurred August 12 in in the Palms neighborhood in West Los Angeles. Ms. Gonzales was reportedly attempting to cross Sepulveda Boulevard at the intersection with Palms Boulevard at approximately 10:25 p.m. When she was struck by a vehicle which has not been described. She was taken to an area hospital where she passed away from her injuries. The tragic incident is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Ms. Gonzales was 45-years-old.
