
An 18-year-old Compton youth died in one of the vehicles that collided on the 405 Freeway in a tragic early-morning collision.
Westminster, CA, January 17, 2022 — Marisol Martinez Rebeles has been identified by authorities as the victim in a Westminster collision involving two or three vehicles that occurred on the early morning of January 16. According to information attributed to the California Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Compton resident Marisol Rebeles was riding in one of the vehicles that collided at about 4:45 a.m. on the 405 Freeway (aka San Diego Freeway) near Westminster Boulevard. The crash involved an SUV an a vehicle described as a sedan, as well as a possible third-vehicle that may have joined the collision. First-responders reportedly arrived at the scene, but the young woman tragically died from her injuries. Little other information has been provided about the deadly crash but an investigation is reportedly ongoing.
