
Hit-and-run is suspected in the tragic death of the 24-year-old victim.
Los Angeles, CA, November 20, 2020 — Manuel Eduardo Carrillo has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on November 19 in Van Nuys, a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angles. Manuel Carrillo, a 24-year-old resident of Tarzana was near the crossing of Natick Avenue and Burbank Boulevard at about 7:15 when he struck by a vehicle under circumstances that have not been described. Police did say that the driver of the vehicle left the scene without trying to help the young man. First-responders arrived and attempted to help but the victim expired at the scene. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the tragic crash and seeking out witnesses to locate the missing driver.
