Riverside, CA January — Lin Tae Kim has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that occurred on January 7 in Riverside. Lin Tae Kim, a 66-year-old local resident, was heading south in the bicycle lane on Jackson Street near Colorado Avenue prior to 6:30 a.m. When the victim merged out of the bike lane, he was struck by a vehicle, believed to be a Mini Cooper from the 2000s. First-responders arrived while the man was still alive. He was taken for treatment but tragically passed away at Parkview Community Hospital. The Major Accident Investigation Team of the Riverside Police Department is seeking out witnesses as they attempt to locate the driver of the vehicle that killed Lin Tae Kim.
