Lancaster, CA, November 25, 20202 — Kevin Farris has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a car vs. tractor-trailer truck collision that occurred on November 23 in Lancaster. Kevin Farris, a 26-year-old resident of Rosamund was driving an Infiniti on the Interstate 14 or Antelope Valley Freeway at about 9:20 p.m. when, for reasons that may not yet be known, his car collided with the rear of tractor-trailer big-rig. The driver of the truck, 32-year-old Coachella resident Mitchell Hernandez, was reportedly not injured. Kevin Farris, however, was taken to an area hospital by first-responders with severe injuries. He later died from them. The California Highway Patrol in Antelope Valley is investigating the tragic crash and says that it suspects that substances may have been involved.
