Kathryn Hann has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision involving a car and an electric mobility scooter that occurred on March 2 in Hemet. Ms. Hann, a 60-year-old local resident, was stopped in front of a stop sign at the intersection of Palm Street and Mayberry Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. but ventured onto the next street when she was hit by a pickup truck that was turning. Ms. Hann suffered extremely serious injuries and was hospitalized at Inland Valley Medical Center but she passed away from his injuries by 1:00 a.m. the next morning. The driver of the truck remained at the scene was cooperative, authorities say.
