Justa Garcia Ramirez has been identified by authorities as the victim of a pedestrian collision that took place recently in Compton. Little information is available regarding the incident, other than that Mr. Ramirez was at Caldwell Street and Wilmington Avenue when he was hit by an unknown vehicle for unknown reasons. He was taken for medical care but died from his injuries. It is reported, however, that police questioned the driver. Mr. Ramirez was 77-years-old.
