A 78-year local man died after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Cajalco Road and Clark Street.
Perris, CA, June 15, 2022 — Julian Gastelum-Aldana has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on June 8 in Perris. Julian Gastelum-Aldana, a 78-year-old local resident was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Cajalco Road and Clark Street at 11:31 a.m. First-responders arrived and took Julian Gastelum-Aldana to Riverside University Health System Medical Center with severely injuries. Tragically, the victim passed away from his injuries the following afternoon on June 9. Reports indicate that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the collision but an investigation is ongoing. The California Highway Patrol in Riverside is handling the investigation.
