Joshua Madrid, 14, Dead After Monterey Park Skateboard Accident

Joshua Madrid, a 14-year-old skateboarder, has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run collision that took place in Monterey Park on November 18. The boy was skateboarding with friend in the area and was apparently on his way home. The boy was struck by a vehicle which left the scene. An investigation is ongoing as surveillance footage is being combed for clues. Monterey Park Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV  or light colored minivan. All witnesses are asked to come forward.
