Joseph Hunt Killed in Moss Landing Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

Joseph Hunt has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian accident believed to be a case of hit-and-run that occurred on March 23 in Moss Landing. The body of Mr. Hunt, a 25-year-old New Hampshire resident, was found by an officer of the California Highway Patrol on Highway 1 at roughly 9:00 a.m. on the side of the road. He is believed to have been struck by a vehicle and died at the scene. Authorities say they believe the driver did not stop after hitting the victim. The CHP is looking for the suspect and investigating the tragedy.
