Joel Vieto has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred in Fremont on November 6. Mr. Vieto, a 29-year-old local resident, was riding a motorcycle on Stevenson Boulevard just after 6:45 p.m. when the cycle and an SUV crashed into each other. First responders attempted to revive the motorcyclist but he died at scene of the accident, sources say. A woman passenger in the SUV may also have been injured. The cause of the incident is not currently known.
